Data We Store

Inbox Rescue stores the minimum data needed to scan and monitor Shopify sender authentication: shop domain, app access token, selected plan, sender email, DNS scan results, monitor status, and scan history.

Data We Do Not Store

Inbox Rescue does not store buyer records, order records, payment card details, passwords, customer addresses, theme code, products, or customer marketing lists.

How Data Is Used

• To connect the app to the installed Shopify store.
• To scan public DNS records for DMARC, SPF, and Shopify sender authentication signals.
• To save the monitored sender domain and show the latest email health score.
• To create and confirm Shopify Billing subscriptions chosen by the merchant.

Deletion

If a shop uninstalls the app, or Shopify sends a shop redaction request, Inbox Rescue deletes that shop's stored installation, monitors, and scan history.

Mandatory Shopify compliance webhooks are implemented for customer data requests, customer redaction, and shop redaction.
